THE NATIONAL UNION OF AGRICULTURAL INSURANCE AGREES WITH THE CONCLUSIONS OF THE LEADING EXPERTS
The National Union of Agricultural Insurance agrees with the conclusions of the leading experts of the Ministry of Finance of Russia on the negative impact of the “single subsidy” on the development of agricultural insurance in 2017 and the need to introduce additional insurance programs considering the best world practices, including index products. The roundtable discussed the results of the research conducted by the NIFI on the effectiveness of state support for agricultural insurance and the results of using state support for practices, considering the obligations of the Russian Federation in accession to the WTO. Participants of the roundtable recognized the need for a serious scientific level to consider the criteria for the effectiveness of insurance in general and agricultural insurance.
