• • • Russian Minister opened the Russian exposition at the International Green Week in Berlin
Russian Minister of Agriculture opened the exposition of the Russian Federation at the 84th International Green Week in Berlin. The head of the Russian delegation visited the national stand, as well as the stands of the Republic of Tatarstan, Stavropol, Kaliningrad and Saratov regions. More than 50 Russian companies will present around 200 products at the exhibition. Russia exhibits bakery and dairy products, confectionery, fish, vegetables and vegetable oils, and other locally produced goods at the event.
The German Federal Minister of Food and Agriculture, Julia Klöckner, visited the Russian exposition. Dmitry Patrushev noted a positive dynamic in cooperation between the countries. Thus, in 2018, bilateral trade in agricultural products increased by almost 17% to $1.6 billion. The Russian Minister of Agriculture thanked his German colleague for the opportunity to take part in the exhibition, expressing confidence that it would contribute to the further development of bilateral relations between the countries.
During his visit to Germany, Dmitry Patrushev will also hold a number of bilateral meetings with his foreign colleagues and will take part in the 11th Conference of Agriculture Ministers in Berlin.
