The talks were held on October 4 in Moscow on the eve of the meeting between Head of Federal Service Sergey Dankvert and Ambassador of Argentina to the Russian Federation Ricardo Lagorio.
The Rosselkhoznadzor informed their counterparts that currently it was considering enlarging the list of Argentine fish-processing establishments authorized to export to Russia and the EAEU. The request on this matter sent by the National food safety and quality of Argentina (SENASA) is to be examined in shortest time taking into consideration the approval of other EAEU member states. The same situation has evolved around signing of four veterinary certificates accompanied by which food gelatin, cattle seed and embryos as well as live horses would be exported from Argentina to the EAEU. All documents are under consideration of the Union member states. In respect of the draft certificate necessary for imports of breeding cattle from Argentina, the Rosselkhoznadzor stated that it had prepared its remarks and sent a respective letter to the Embassy of the Republic of Argentina during the meeting.
