• • • Rosselkhoznadzor Held Talks with Embassy of Canada in Russian Federation
Meeting between the representatives of the Rosselkhoznadzor and Embassy of Canada in the Russian Federation was held on November 13, this year. Technical issues related to bilateral trade in animal products were discussed.
The parties discussed the procedure of veterinary certificate agreement for horse and small ruminant meat, exported to the EAEU countries from Canada. Both certificates are being agreed now by the member-countries.
The Rosselkhoznadzor also informed the Canadian party about the interest in import of bovine colostrum, used for calf feeding, to Canada. The Service had sent a veterinary certificate model to the Canadian Food Inspection Agency in the previous week for consideration. The Canadian party noted that it would facilitate the rapid solution of this issue.
