HIGH-LEVEL CONFERENCE “MODERN BIOTECHNOLOGIES IN AGRICULTURE”
The European Commission organized a high-level conference on “Modern Biotechnologies in Agriculture – Paving the way for responsible innovation”. This one-day conference taken place in Brussels, Belgium, on Thursday 28 September 2017.
Ahead of the conference, the European seed sector held the campaign #EmbracingNature to underline and explain the essential role plant breeding innovation plays in tackling Europe’s agri-food challenges, including meeting consumer demands and contributing to a highly productive and more sustainable agriculture and food production system.
