Nowadays reducing water content in fodder products down to 8–10 % is one of the most effective techniques in feed storage. However high costs of this process make necessary accurate choice of dehydration method and dryer parameters. Granulate production of soybean-paste mixtures has specific aspects, related to different composition and characteristics of row material (full fat soybean powder, minced meat and fish, laminarian or alfalfa paste). The experiment aimed at testing the correlation between factors, defining kinetics of granulate dehydration in chamber dryer. Considering drying rate constant correlation of initial and current moisture content affected the kinetics of dehydration process, determining the duration of moisture decrease down to 8–12 % by chamber dryer. The experiment determined optimal dryer parameters via mathematical models of granule dehydration, based on correlation of factors, significantly affecting qualitative and energy characteristics. The data obtained can be used in development of the line for soybean-paste granulate production.
